Sinew, Artificial

Artificial sinew is sometimes called imitation sinew, simulated sinew, or fake sinew, and comes from manmade fibers such as polypropylene, polyester, and nylon. The sinew is flat, almost ribbon-like, and unlike natural sinew, it has more of a uniform texture. It also comes pre-waxed, which helps to add strength, plus increase protection from UV rays, and moisture resistance.
